Ginny K. Rainey currently provides service to R. F. Knox Company, Inc. as the Business Development Director. She is responsible for managing all sales and marketing efforts and also provides strategic council to R. F. Knox Company, Inc. to plan for future growth.

 

R. F. Knox Company, Inc. offers over nine decades of experience in the sheet metal industry to clients. With over 94 years of experience, R. F. Knox Company, Inc. has formed strategic alliances that have resulted in stellar projects. R. F. Knox Company, Inc. specialties include: Industrial, HVAC and Architectural specialty metal works.

 

Ms. Rainey began with R. F. Knox Company, Inc. in 2008. In her previous work experience she served as the Director of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Transportation Department and Director of Commuter Club, a transportation management association and a program of the Cumberland Community Improvement District. She served in these roles for nearly 10 years and gained valuable sales, marketing, project management and business analysis experience. Under her leadership and project management, Commuter Club received over 17 local and national awards. This experience positioned her to be the perfect choice to enter as the first woman in a family owned business that is currently being managed by a fourth generation sibling.

 

Ms. Rainey graduated from Auburn University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Ms. Rainey has attended and graduated from the Regional Leadership Institute and Leadership Cobb. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta (FUMC) and has served on a host of committees associated with FUMC including: Local and Global Missions, Nursery Guild, Nominations Committee, Weekday Board and Weekday Ministries. She has served as the Director of the FUMC Youth Camp and currently teaches Sunday School. She currently is chair of the Children's Ministry Team which is responsible for all children's activities for the 2,800 member congregation and was co-chair for the 175th Celebration PR activities associated with the building of The Park on Polk Street which is more than a $175,000 project.

 

Ms. Rainey is a member of The Civic League, The Cobb Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Cobb Alumni Association where she serves as Treasurer. Most recently she was recognized by Marietta Daily Journal as a ‘Super Mom' in their Mother's Day edition and in Cobb Life Magazine as a Top 20 under 40 Rising Star in 2007. Honors in 2008 include being named on Georgia Trend's Top 40 under 40 Rising Stars in the state of Georgia.

 

Ms. Rainey has also served in past years on the MUST Ministries Board, Tommy Nobis Center Board and the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta. She previously chaired the Association for Commuter Transportation National TMA Council and the Metro Atlanta Employer Services Vanpool Committee. She also recently served on the Cobb Transit Advisory Board and the Transit Planning Board Performance Measures Committee. She has provided countless hours to the American Heart Association but her greatest love is raising her two girls: Madeline Grace and Georgeanne Rainey.
