President, R. F. Knox Company, Inc.

 

R.F. Knox Company, Inc. was established in 1914 under the name of Knox and Maier Company. By 1924, J.J. Maier relinquished his partnership and the company name was changed to R.F. Knox Company, Inc. In the beginning R.F. Knox Company, Inc. was involved in smaller metal fabrication and installation projects such as repairing roofs or making grate fronts and stovepipes. 

 

Today R. F. Knox Company, Inc. offers a wide variety of products through three primary divisions: Industrial, Commercial HVAC and Architectural Metals, although the founding principles of producing exceptional sheet metal products remain the same. The company has completed numerous large and small projects for various industries including institutional, research, healthcare, commercial, manufacturing, and government facilities and buildings. With each project safety, cleanliness, efficiency and excellent management skills are instilled in all areas of performance to exceed client expectations.

 

R.F. Knox Company, Inc. is owned and operated by the original Knox family.  Jack Knox is the 4^th generation president and through his leadership the company has achieved substantial growth and success. Mr. Knox graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

 

Mr. Knox is currently on the following boards: SMACNA Local Chapter, Trustee on the Local Industry Pension Fund, Trustee on the Industry Fund of United States, Management Trustee on the Joint Conference Committee, and North Metro Church Board in Marietta, GA. He also supports The Center for Family Resources and was named a Top 20 Rising Star in Cobb Life Magazine.

 

Mr. Knox continues to serve as community leader in the city of Marietta where he was born and raised, and now lives with his wife and three children.
