about:                                    R. F. Knox Company, Inc. was originally founded in 1914 under the name Knox & Maier Company. The principle business was repairing roofs and fabricating grate fronts, stove pipes and other small sheet metal items.  In 1924 the company relocated on Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta and assumed the name R. F. Knox Company, Inc.

location:                                After a move from Marietta Street to Forrest Road in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1975 R. F. Knox Company, Inc. relocated to a site in Smyrna on Martin Court which offers 8 acres and a production shop with over 55,000 square feet.

 

milestones:                           R. F. Knox Company, Inc. is a family owned business currently managed by a fourth generation family member. John A. Knox is President of the company. He has  provided 14 years of service to the company. Mr. Knox currently serves in multiple leadership roles locally and nationally. Mr. Knox also was recently recognized as one of the Top 20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Cobb based on his career and community work.
